Teresa Mokrysz - Promoter of Poland
On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, during the 10th European Economic Congress in Katowice, the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem "Teraz Polska" awarded the "Promoter of Poland" distinctions. The distinction was received by the owner of Mokate Group, Teresa Mokrysz, among others.
Poland's image is built not only by products, services and innovations, but also - and perhaps above all - by people - said Krzysztof Przybył, President of the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem "Teraz Polska" during the awards ceremony. - The successes of people - entrepreneurs, politicians, representatives of culture - coming from here, Silesia, contribute to the promotion of the region both in the country and in the world - he added.
On behalf of Teresa Mokrysz, the award was received by her son, Adam Mokrysz, President of Mokate SA and the CEO of the Mokate Group.
Prizes were also awarded to: Joanna Wnuk-Nazarowa, Małgorzata Mańka-Szulik and Tadeusz Donocik. During the event, three companies from Silesia were also awarded with the "Promoter of Polish Economy" award.
The "Promoter of Polish Economy" and "Promoter of Poland" distinctions were presented for the first time in May 2017 during the European Economic Congress in Katowice. It was then that the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem, for the first time in its nearly 30-year history, went beyond the framework of the "Teraz Polska" competition when rewarding Polish companies. So far, awards have also been given in Podlasie and Kujawy.
Past award recipients include Prof. Marian Zembala, Wojciech Kuśpik, Marcin Wyrostek, Grażyna Dworakowska, Prof. Marek Harat, Marek Żydowicz, Krzysztof Pruszyński and Fakro, Ursus, Selena, Newag, Polpharma, Maspex, MLEKOVITA, Klinika Uzdrowiskowa “Pod Tężniami” and the MAD Bicycles start-up.
