Women's Entrepreneurship Council
On Thursday, March 15, the first meeting of the Women's Entrepreneurship Council took place at the headquarters of the Adam Smith Centre in Warsaw. This Council was created at the meeting of Women's Entrepreneurship Ambassadors, which took place in Warsaw on January 23, 2018 at the invitation of Andżelika Możdżanowska - Poland's Government Plenipotentiary for Small and Medium Enterprises.
The women participating in the meeting discussed the set of bills so-called "Constitution for Business", among other things. They also listened to the lecture by Katarzyna Gierczak Grupińska, founder and President of the Firmy Rodzinne Foundation, entitled "The Organisation's Identity Based on Shared Values" and the presentation entitled "BLOCKCHAIN Technology - Virtual Currencies as New Billing Methods" and "Mediation for Entrepreneurs: Lawsuits can be Avoided, Gaining Time and Money."
During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Women's Entrepreneurship Council and the Adam Smith Centre.
It is worth mentioning that Sylwia Mokrysz, Proxy at Mokate SA, has been active as a Women's Entrepreneurship Ambassador for years and has been appointed to the Women's Entrepreneurship Council.
The Federation of Associations "International Network of Women's Entrepreneurship Ambassadors" is the official representative of the "Women's Entrepreneurship Day" in Poland, which is a summary of the year-round campaign supporting women. The WED initiative is a worldwide social movement aimed at supporting and strengthening the position of women entrepreneurs and showing why we should invest in women's entrepreneurship. The mission of Women's Entrepreneurship Day is to strengthen the position of 4 billion women around the world, so they can become catalysts for change and to improve the situation of 250 million girls living in poverty.
